Dr. Gremillion received his Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA in 1982 and his M.D. from Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans, LA in 1986. He was a resident and a fellow in Clinical Cardiology and Electrophysiology at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, where he also worked as an instructor of Cardiology.
Dr. Gremillion joined Louisiana Cardiology Associates in 1993, after serving as a staff cardiologist for Nashville General Hospital and in the Catherization Lab of Nashville’s Veteran’s Administration Medical Center. During his time with LCA, Dr. Gremillion has held the titles of Cardiology Vice-Chief of Staff, Cardiology Chief of Staff and Medical Chief of Staff for Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He is the staff cardiologist for the Louisiana State University Athletic Department. He is also one of four electrophysiologists on staff with the Heart Rhythm Center, an electrophysiology-based division of Louisiana Cardiology Associates.
Dr. Gremillion is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Electrophysiology and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
